Quick Update

I have some sad news to share. I had a store lined up and everything was almost finalized, but yesterday morning I received a text saying the owner had changed his mind.

Because of this, I will not be able to secure a location for the Christmas season. There is simply not enough time left to get everything set up.

This rejection really hurt. We talked for a long time, he seemed excited about the store, and he even claimed to be a Trump supporter. Someone clearly got to him, and it makes me question what freedom we actually have.

Yes, I broke a Huntley law by putting up a sign. But I did my homework. There are temporary signs all over Huntley with no permits. St. Mary’s, Goodwill, and even the car wash across the street all have signs with no permits.

The car wash owner had a huge five dollar car wash sign up the entire time Huntley was harassing me. He never had a permit. When I got a lawyer, the village suddenly told him to take it down. But guess what is back up now. And if you look behind that business, you will see several more signs with no permits.

I guess as long as you never get a ticket and do not have to show up in court, you are not breaking the law.

People think change will happen simply because Trump is in office. The truth is that we all need to step up. One thing Democrats do very well is stick together. Our side does not. Too many people are either RINOs or chasing money and power, willing to sell out their own at any cost.

Maybe God sees all of this and does not want me to continue down this path.

I have not had much support, so I think I will listen to God and let go of this dream for now.

But I will still wear Trump clothing every day because it gives me some of the best days of my life. I love the positive feedback I get from the people who approach me.

There are more Trump supporters in this area than most people realize, and many are not afraid to show it.
