The Truth About My Criminal Charges  

 

1. My warrant for arrest is due to being late to court on Friday, June 16, 2025. My court date has since been rescheduled to June 20, 2025.  

 

2. There have been claims that while being served papers, I made contact with the deputy and then ran into my house. This is 100% false. Why would I run? The deputy could have easily served me papers at my store, where I am present every day. The last time I was served, I ended up talking to the server for about 30 minutes. I would never flee from a conversation.  

 

3. My license is suspended solely because I didn't show my proof of insurance on two occasions: once in October 2024 and once in December 2024. I reopened the case in March, provided my proof of insurance, but the village attorney refused to drop the registration sticker ticket tied to the proof of insurance ticket. As a result, the judge can't dismiss just one of them since they're linked together.  

 

4. I cannot obtain a registration sticker until my license is reinstated because I didn't show proof of insurance. I can't get my license reinstated until one of the two proof of insurance tickets is dropped, which isn't happening because of the registration sticker ticket.  Does this make sense?  

 

5. I am labeled a criminal due to issues with proof of insurance and the registration sticker. How can this be justified when the police are supposed to protect and serve, and the judicial system is meant to punish those who harm others? Who have I hurt? Why am I considered a criminal? Is this really about generating more revenue for the system, ensuring they get paid by withholding my license?

 

NEWS UPDATE ON EVICTION

I settled before trial for two reasons, one this was not the landlord idea.  I did not want to continue burdening him on this matter.  

​

I also need a bigger store.  I am taking time to build an online store and find the perfect place so we can really have fun finding Truth, supporting President Trump and doing good for others.

I have no ill feelings toward my landlord; this situation feels more like bullying from the village, involving threats and intimidation. I kindly ask that you do not hold him responsible for these actions. Thank you.

I am very pleased with the awareness this has raised regarding the bullying of small businesses, freedom of speech, and the misuse of ordinances that tend to arise when there is a clash of beliefs.

​The Legal Drama with the VILLAGE & EVICTION 

I proudly own a Trump Truth Store in Huntley, IL, but I find myself in a troubling series of legal battles. I am facing four ordinance violations concerning my store. The items on my private property include the American flag, a "Make America Great Again" yard sign, two Trump flags, a table and chairs, a Trump inflatable, and my trailer, which features a vinyl sticker with my website URL and QR code (considered unapproved signage).

After the election, many of my customers received letters instructing them to remove their Trump yard signs displayed on their private property, as well as signs not in the right-of-way, or face daily fines. Most complied, but when my letter arrived, I knew I had to stand firm.

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT--FREEDOM OF SPEECH - IF EVERYBODY CAN INFRINGE ON IT?    Your neighbors, friends, relatives, social media, church, local government, employment, association, school, clubs, groups, etc.  -- all have rules imposing on your First Amendment right.  So, what is the point of having the First Amendment?  

The essence of my Trump Truth Store is to empower the community to engage in political discussions without fear. By showcasing your beliefs, you open doors for conversation. It often takes just one brave person to spark positive change in a neighborhood. My community appreciates my store, and the recent infringement on free speech has made many aware of the issues at play; they never thought their village would act this way.

 

However, due to my demanding schedule spent talking with customers, I have little time to research or fight back against the village's actions.  This is a store where people want to speak, and I can't wait to make it bigger so people can hang out and discuss with everyone.  

I've even learned that a board member for the county has offered his services to my landlord to try to force me out, and several Democrats are rallying to shut my store down simply because they oppose Trump.   There was never a need for the eviction, as I had every intention of moving to a bigger place.  Now, with my time in legal, I do not have much time to find a place and move.  

 

The ordinances targeting me seem senseless; my flag is not in the right-of-way, and countless others in the area display even more signage and flags, yet I am being targeted due to the name "Trump." It is crucial to set an example and defend our constitutional rights. I urgently need your legal support or advice.

Each day, I remind myself of a quote from Trump: "Remember this: nothing worth doing ever, ever, ever came easy. Following your convictions means you must be willing to face criticism from those who lack the same courage to do what is right."
